NEW MOON

None of us doubted that twilight would be a hit at the box office and now summit entertainment has announced that they are moving forward with the creation of new moon.

Twilight Premier!!!

Alright, so some of us waited to get in since 4:30pm, only to have to wait out the next two hours saving our seats. Big shout out to those in theater 3. After the first hour of texting on our cell pohones or taking naps we actually played twirades (sherades of twilight scenes) Well, we had some laughs and it did help pass the time. There were a few hardore twilighters who started leading the audience in chants. This was all good fun but things almost turned sour as our theater along with two others' video feed was postponed by almost a half an hour! Finally the summit entertainment logo came on the big screen and screams filled the air. The anticipation of the movie made watching it so different than any other movie I had ever see. Its like watching something as you check off items on a "favorite part in the book" list. They did have to condense a lot of material into one movie and so it felt a little choppy but still beautiful. The oos and squeals of the girls in the audience was pretty amusing, ok I couldn't help but join them in a few key parts of the movie but it totally killed the kissing scene for me when you kept hearing shoes pitter pattering with excitement in anticipation of their lips to touch for the first time and there was actual whining and panting by overly eager girls- I was supprised by how many funny moments there were and I loved it. I have to say though that Bellas prom dress was pretty pathetic in my opinion. I think Alice would've chosen something way more elegant and stylish than a tiered ruffled halter dress. My favorite part has to be when Bella meets the family. I was laughing so much, especially at Jasper's expression!!! The actors all portrayed their characters perfectly. Well, there is no doubt in my mind that a swequel is in store and so this blog will go on in anticipation of the next film. Wow I just can't wait until I can own the dvd. I know that I want to see this movie again before that happens. I really can't wait to watch it without the "expressive" females in the audience. Don't get me wrong I had the same feelings and reactions but I kept it inside out of respect for those around me who were also trying to watch the movie. Well, that is only my opinion so I want to hear what all of you out there thought of this film, the acting, and even the audience.
